Shipping & Return Policy

Shipping:
At Laplace Hobby Center, we strive to process and ship orders as quickly as possible. Orders are typically processed within 1-2 business days. Shipping rates and delivery times vary based on your location and selected shipping method. Tracking information will be provided once your order has shipped.

Returns & Exchanges:
We want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. If you need to return an item, please review our policy below:

  • Unopened Model Kits: Returns can be initiated within 7 days of receiving your order. The item must be in its original, unopened, and undamaged packaging. 
  • Opened Model Kits: Due to the nature of the products, we do not accept returns for opened or used model kits.
  • Return Process: To start a return, please email us at info@laplacehobbycenter.com with your order details. The buyer is responsible for return shipping costs. Once we receive and inspect the returned item, we will issue a refund to your original payment method. Note: Returns due to customer no longer wanting the product or order cancellations will be subject to a 3% restocking fee.

Price Match Policy

At Laplace Hobby Center, we are committed to offering competitive prices on our model kits. If you find the same Bandai or third-party model kit at a lower price from a reputable U.S.-based retailer, we will do our best to match it!

How It Works

  • The item must be identical (brand, model, and condition) and in stock at both our store and the competitor’s store.
  • The competitor must be a reputable U.S.-based retailer (no auction sites, peer-to-peer marketplaces, or international stores).
  • The price match request must be made before your purchase or within 24 hours of your order being placed with us.
  • Shipping costs from the competitor will be factored into the final matched price.

How to Request a Price Match

To request a price match, please email us at info@laplacehobbycenter.com with:

  • A link to the competitor’s listing showing the lower price.
  • Your order details (if you’ve already made a purchase).

Exclusions:

  • Clearance, flash sales, bundle deals, or special promotions.
  • Listings from third-party marketplaces (eBay, Amazon third-party sellers, etc.).
  • Price errors or misprints.
